LUCINDA WILLIAMS ROCKS!!!

I was fortunate to see Lucinda Williams perform two weeks ago on January 16th at the Plaza Theater in Orlando FL.  Her band was top notch (they really cooked) and her voice was strong and confident. Playing a number of songs from her new double CD, “Where the Spirit Meets the Bone,” she also covered material from throughout her long career. Two covers that allowed the band to stretch out were the Allman’s “It’s not my Cross to Bear” and one of the encore performances of Neil Young’s “Rockin in the Free World.” If you have not seen her live, make the effort.
